Uncle Benjamin was the man with the vision for Benjamin’s Beaver Creek. He believed that everyone should have a special place to make memories for generations. His dream stemmed from his own experience visiting his grandparents every summer up north. It’s where he learned to ride a bike. It’s where he caught his first fish, although the way he tells it it sounds more like a whale than a fish. But when you’re five everything seems larger than life. When he was grown with a family of his own he would take them to the same cabin by the lake every summer to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. As his kids started having families of their own and his nieces and nephews grew too, he decided to build a place where everyone could come to relax, somewhere that families everywhere could call their own place up north and Beaver Creek was born. Today we call it Benjamin’s Beaver Creek, in honor of him, to help everyone, young and old, remember the simple joys of relaxing and playing with friends and family.
Do you have your own experience you'd like to share? We'd love to hear it.
